We are the first step in our clients visit and our employees day at work, ensuring everyone starts their journey on a positive note and ends it feeling fulfilled. With a heavy focus on leaving a lasting impression, providing exceptional service, and collaborating with partner teams to create the best experience possible, we ensure that all client needs are met with the utmost attention to detail.

 

As a Lobby Receptionist on the Amenity Services team, you will report directly to your Lobby Reception Manager and work alongside a team of fellow Lobby Receptionists and Lobby Reception Specialists. 

Job responsibilities

  • Warmly welcome, register, check-in, and assist clients and visitors as they arrive for meetings and events within JPMorganChases office space.
  • Promptly assist employees by providing temporary access or badges, answering questions, and offering information as needed.
  • Diligently follow all building and security procedures to ensure a healthy, safe, and secure environment for all.
  • Proactively identify and escalate issues to appropriate teams, adhering to the if you see something, say something principle.
  • Consistently meet and exceed Lobby Reception standards by delivering first-class service.
  • Thoroughly familiarize yourself with meetings, events, and VIP visits each day using event and visitor management systems.
  • Collaboratively partner with teams such as Global Security, Real Estate, and Technology to create an excellent in-office experience.
  • Efficiently manage miscellaneous tasks and projects related to improving the teams service standards.
  • Professionally handle difficult personalities and resolve issues while maintaining a positive demeanor.
  • Accurately maintain records and logs related to visitor management and access control.
  • Actively contribute to a welcoming and inclusive environment for all clients, visitors, and employees.

     

     

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Minimum 2 years experience in high-end reception, concierge, or hospitality services
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal/phone/email communication skills with an outgoing personality
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, quickly problem solve, and manage difficult personalities while maintaining a professional and focused demeanor
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with event, room, or visitor management systems
  • Willing and able to stand or walk for long periods of time (1 hour or more)
  • Willing and able to work flexible shifts, including different start or end times each day

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Bi-lingual, Spanish-speaking
