Location: Warszawa, Mazowieckie, Poland

Support the EMEA & Global Quality program, including identifying and monitoring significant risks and ensuring compliance with operational policies, procedures, and legal/regulatory requirements. 

As a KYC Operations Quality Senior Associate within the WKO Production and Quality team you will act as the subject matter expert for EMEA and Global Quality program. You will build rapport with internal customers, align multiple teams on program direction, and manage reporting clarifications with precision so that outputs remain consistent, traceable, and audit-defensible. You will be able to demonstrate a practical understanding of emerging technologies, including LLMs and agentic AI, is required to inform strategic program direction and roadmap decisions. You will work in an analytical and dynamic environment and have the ability to evaluate complex documents in order to ensure regulatory requirements are met.

The role partners closely with Operations, QC, Policy, GFCC, Technology, and Exam Management to ensure alignment to firm standards. 

Job responsibilities 

  • Develop and maintain strong knowledge of WKO policies, procedures, and operating model as well as systems/platforms used to carry out these activities
  • Investigate and analyze emerging KYC Quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and work with WKO teams to define and execute plans to resolve the issue
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, setting expectations on timing, inputs, review cycles, and accountability.
  • Maintain a baseline understanding of LLMs and agentic AI concepts to support strategic program direction discussions, including opportunities, limitations, and governance implications.
  • Support implementation and execution of the teams guiding principles including Governance and Reporting and supporting artifacts that are audit-ready, including clear narratives, decision logs, metric integrity, and traceable sources
  • Provide key metrics and reports to management which outline progress of the quality framework, frequency and materiality of findings
  • Establish and maintain standards for documentation, version control, and evidence retention to ensure materials are consistently defensible under review.
  • Contribute to ad hoc projects with the objective to improve the overall quality of the KYC framework.
  • Build and develop strong partnerships, identify challenges and eliminate roadblocks with all internal partners, including with Policy and Procedures on identified policy or process gaps or clarification as needed
  • Manage personal workload and priorities ensuring timely escalation of key risks/issues to management 
  • Identify and execute process improvements, provide guidance, support on key process and technology initiatives to the business and continually reassess key risks and appropriateness of controls to ensure timely identification of significant risks and issues to support an evolving business & regulatory environment

  • Ability to effectively communicate complex policy and operational concepts to both senior management and junior operational staff
