Full Job Description

We are looking for a Cash Operations Specialist F/M for a 9-month contract to join our AXA Partners' teams in Shannon. You will be part of the Operations team within AXA Partners CLP and work closely with our country Operations teams, Partners and cross functionally. Managing cash received from our partners and reconcile with partner data. Once reconciled, cash will flow to finance system. You will be responsible for the cash reconciliation process of their assigned country or countries in an accurate and timely manner, ensuring always to put the end customer at the centre of decision making. You sit at a key point in the customer journey so strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business is a key requirement. What youll be doing: Within the Operations department, you will be responsible for: Cash reconciliation activities Upon receipt of cash, reconcile with due entries accurately and in a timely manner. Investigate when discrepancies arise, ensuring appropriate cross functional teams are informed and engaged. Management of assigned country or countries bank account and monthly priorities Ensure cash adjustments are management in accordance with agreed guidelines and within appropriate approval limits. Play an integral role in the formulation and delivery of resolutions to support issues and take preventative steps to avoid recurrence of known issues and potential oversights Adhere to and complete all regular team controls, ensuring appropriate control evidence is maintained. Monitor bank account activity to identify and escalate as appropriate overdue cash. Generate administrative system reports to support operations reporting and other functions. Support the Premiums Team/Client Service Controller with all policy management queries and activities Upon request from Operations team, process premium refunds, claims and profit share payments Presentation of weekly/monthly reports to Management as required Present regular country update to key stakeholders and participate in reporting obligations when necessary. Deal with any partners queries in relation to activities performed by the Operations Specialist Assist with month end closing activities Maintain files and documentation thoroughly and accurately in accordance with company policy and accepted cash reconciliation practices Create and maintain process documentation within best practice guidelines. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and work with the wider Operations team to implement improvements and provide feedback. Provide SME support to the implementation and onboarding of new deals. Work with IT process owners to ensure delivery of new development and production support tasks and projects, completing any relevant testing as required & providing feedback on solution design when required. The list is not exhaustive, additional reasonable duties may be required from time to time. Support the overall Operations function, as required. What youll bring: Essential Skills required: Finance / Accounting or similar education profile would be an advantage Experience of life and non-life products, especially in Credit & Lifestyle protection (not essential) Proficiency in reconciliation activities Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail Ability to evolve in a multicultural and dynamic environment Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the business Self-motivated, with the ability to work well under pressure on multiple priorities and to critical deadlines Solutions orientated, with a pragmatic approach to problem solving. Able to analyse complex issues and develop a pathway to logical resolution.
