Location: Taipei, Taiwan

The Vice President, Financial Institutions Group (FIG), based in Taiwan, will be responsible for managing the FIG business locally. This role focuses on business development, client relationship management, and operational excellence to drive growth and profitability within the financial institutions sector in Taiwan. The successful candidate will work closely with regional and global teams to ensure the Taiwan FIG strategy aligns with the firms broader objectives.

Job Responsibilities

  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the client base and enhance product offerings within the financial institutions sector in Taiwan.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with banks and non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs), including insurance companies, broker-dealers, and fintech firms.
  • Support senior lead and mobilize cross-functional JPM teams to drive client engagement and deliver comprehensive solutions.
  • Risk Management: Ensure robust risk management practices, compliance with regulatory requirements, and adherence to internal policies.
  • Financial Performance: Achieve revenue and profitability targets, contributing to the sustainable growth of the FIG business in Taiwan.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor local market trends, competitive dynamics, and regulatory developments to inform business strategy.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Minimum 7 years experience managing relationships with banks and NBFIs, including insurance companies, broker-dealers, asset managers.
  • Strong understanding of the financial services sector in Taiwan and regional APAC experience
  • Ability to provide valuable insights and content to Treasurers and Chief Financial Officers of financial institutions.
  • Proven track record in originating and leading transactions.
