Youll work across regions and markets, collaborating with teams in finance, technology, operations, legal, and compliance to drive initiatives that matter.
As a Finance & Business Management (F&BM) Vice President in Retail Banking, you will serve as a trusted advisor to regional leaders and senior stakeholders, supporting key financial decisions and strategic execution. Youll lead business reviews, identify trends across core performance metrics, and drive data-backed initiatives that improve productivity and expense discipline. You will operate in a fast-paced environment, coordinating across functions to deliver clear recommendations and executive-ready materials.
Job Responsibilities
Advise Regional Directors and senior stakeholders as the primary finance point of contact for decision-making and performance discussionsDeliver actionable insights by analyzing regional and market performance and translating findings into recommendations and proposalsLead regional business reviews using key performance indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunitiesDrive bottom-line performance through disciplined expense management and productivity initiativesPartner with Finance, Technology, Operations, Legal, and Compliance teams to influence and implement strategy, automation, and platform improvementsMonitor core Retail Banking performance metrics such as balance growth, acquisition and retention, employee and customer experience, and branch productivityCollaborate with Operations and Technology to help design future-state workflows and implement tools aligned to evolving market needsCoordinate with regional and national partners (e.g., staffing, HR, operations) to execute divisional and cross-functional initiativesLead cross-functional workstreams and support national initiatives to improve execution consistency across regionsRepresent the business in internal forums and working groups, ensuring alignment and follow-through on decisionsPrepare clear, executive-ready materials and updates for senior leadership audiencesRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related fieldExperience partnering with senior leaders in a dynamic, time-sensitive environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to synthesize large datasets into clear conclusionsProficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (or equivalent tools)Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to deliver executive-level updatesStrong project management, organization, and attention to detailAbility to build effective working relationships across multiple functions and stakeholdersPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Prior business management/COO experience and/or strong product knowledge in a consumer or retail banking contextExperience driving automation, reporting enhancements, or process improvements across teamsExperience leading cross-functional workstreams spanning finance, operations, and technologyExperience with data visualization and workflow tools (e.g., Tableau, Alteryx or similar)Comfort presenting complex topics to senior audiences and influencing outcomes without direct authorityWillingness and ability to travel as neededTrack record of delivering measurable performance improvements (expense, productivity, or operational execution) Be the finance partner to regional leaders, turning data into actions that improve retail bank performance and execution.
