Within the Investment Solutions Business Management team, youll work directly with senior leaders to strengthen how we run the business, turning priorities into coordinated delivery. Youll help shape governance, communications, and execution across a global organization focused on delivering high-quality investment solutions for clients.

As a Vice President, Business Manager on the Investment Solutions team (Managed Investments), you will serve as a strategic partner to the Global Head of Managed Investments and the Portfolio Management leadership team. You will help set the organizations operating rhythm, drive alignment across stakeholders, and move priorities from decision to delivery. Youll balance strategic execution with disciplined financial oversight and a strong fiduciary and control mindset in a fast-paced, global environment.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Lead the annual strategic planning cycle, including priorities, roadmaps, objectives, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Run the operating cadence (e.g., leadership forums, business reviews, performance scorecards) and drive decision and action tracking to closure
  • Deliver cross-functional initiatives by establishing governance, milestones, risks/issues, and clear accountability
  • Synthesize complex topics, trade-offs, and recommendations into executive-ready materials and decision forums
  • Partner with Technology and Operations to support platform modernization, delivery governance, and adoption/change management
  • Advance data and analytics transparency and outcome measurement to strengthen decision-making
  • Maintain a strong control environment through policy adherence, issue identification/escalation, and sustainable remediation
  • Coordinate regulatory exams, audits, and control deliverables across Controls, Risk, Legal, and Compliance
  • Build partnerships across business and functional stakeholders to align priorities and accelerate delivery
  • Lead stakeholder communications and change management; manage executive-level ad hoc requests with clear prioritization and follow-through
  • Partner with Finance on budgets, forecasting, headcount planning, and expense discipline; identify efficiency opportunities across workflows and reporting
  • Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • Demonstrated success driving cross-functional initiatives with senior stakeholders and delivering measurable outcomes
  • Strong executive communication skills, including writing, synthesis, and presentations
  • Analytical mindset with experience defining KPIs and building management reporting and insights
  • Strong understanding of governance, controls, risk, audit, and regulatory expectations in a regulated environment
  • Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to distill complex topics into clear, executive-ready materials
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, global environment with strong ownership, judgment, and integrity
  • Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • Exposure to investment platforms and/or the managed investments lifecycle (e.g., portfolio management, due diligence, implementation/trading)
  • Experience in business management, strategy, COO/Chief of Staff, or operating roles within financial services (wealth and/or investments preferred)
  • Working knowledge of global financial markets and wealth management solutions for affluent and high-net-worth clients
  • Experience supporting leaders across multiple business channels with distinct growth agendas and operating models
  • Experience supporting large-scale transformation programs (e.g., platform modernization, organizational integration)
  • Experience driving automation, process reengineering, and operational efficiency initiatives
