Join a high-impact Business Management team supporting Global Corporate Banking, where youll help leaders and bankers deliver outcomes for complex client portfolios. Youll collaborate across functions, sharpen your commercial judgment, and help improve how the business runsthrough data, reporting, and disciplined execution.
As an Associate, Business Management in Global Corporate Banking, you will support business leaders and coverage teams by driving core business management deliverables, coordinating cross-functional inputs, and improving the accuracy and usability of portfolio and performance reporting. You will act as a connector across partners to ensure high-quality submissions, clean data, and clear insights that enable commercial decision-making. This role sits within Finance & Business Management (F&BM) and offers meaningful exposure to the corporate banking client lifecycle and business strategy.
Job Responsibilities
Partner with Business Managers and industry leadership to execute tactical and strategic workstreams that advance business prioritiesCoordinate key business management activities including project management, recurring reporting, and time-sensitive ad hoc requestsAnalyze business performance drivers and financial results to surface actionable insights and growth opportunitiesSupport portfolio management efforts by helping execute targeting, coverage activities, and client transfer processesMaintain market- and client-related data submissions with strong attention to detail and timelinessCollaborate with bankers and product partners to gather inputs that inform portfolio reporting and management updatesTroubleshoot reporting and data issues, investigating root causes and driving resolution with relevant stakeholdersContribute to broader Global Corporate Banking business management initiatives under the direction of Business ManagersFacilitate communication between the business and F&BM teams to ensure alignment on deliverables and prioritiesIdentify process improvement opportunities and implement enhancements that increase efficiency and controlPrepare clear, executive-ready presentation materials for senior stakeholdersRequired Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience in business management, banking, finance, strategy, operations, and/or project managementStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, shifting deadlines, and urgent requestsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to synthesize information clearly for stakeholdersStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, including comfort working with large datasets and drawing insightsAdvanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPointProven ability to collaborate effectively across teams and build productive working relationshipsPreferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
Experience supporting corporate banking, commercial banking, investment banking, or complex client coverage organizationsFamiliarity with portfolio reporting, client lifecycle processes, and/or data governance practicesExperience building or enhancing dashboards and management reporting using analytics and visualization toolsDemonstrated track record of process improvement (standardizing, automating, or simplifying workflows)Comfort presenting updates and recommendations to senior stakeholdersExperience working in a fast-paced, matrixed organization with multiple partner groupsInterest in developing toward broader F&BM leadership or business management roles Partner with Global Corporate Banking leaders to improve data, reporting, and portfolio execution for large corporates.
