Youll work with product, sales, and commercialization leaders to turn insights into actionhelping us scale, improve performance, and deliver better outcomes for clients. As a Senior Business Manager in Payments Finance & Business Management (F&BM), you drive strategic planning, performance management, and executive decision support for a Commercial Card organization. Youll translate complex data into a clear fact base, shape growth initiatives (including international expansion and virtual card capabilities), and help leaders prioritize where to invest and how to execute. Youll also lead a small team and partner across functions to improve reporting, forecasting, and operating rhythm.

Job Responsibilities 

  • Drive the development and execution of strategic initiatives with product and sales leaders to improve growth and competitiveness.
  • Build a clear performance fact base, identify productivity opportunities, and lead implementation through to results.
  • Analyze sales, product, commercialization, and innovation performance to surface risks, opportunities, and trade-offs.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations and narratives that articulate performance, market opportunity, and competitive positioning.
  • Run recurring leadership forums and planning cadences (e.g., business reviews, strategic planning, pipeline and deal reviews).
  • Partner with commercialization leaders to refine go-to-market approach and execution tracking.
  • Deliver robust reporting and forecasting for product and segment sales performance, including health of offerings and pipeline.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses to diagnose performance issues and support strategic decisions.
  • Lead and coach a small team, setting priorities, ensuring quality delivery, and supporting career development.
  • Collaborate with global teams to improve data quality and automate reporting solutions.
  • Contribute to broader Payments Finance & Business Management initiatives to strengthen cross-business alignment.
  • Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Experience in strategy consulting (internal or external) or strategic finance within the financial services industry.
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Analytics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, including ability to synthesize large, disparate datasets into clear conclusions and actions.
  • Proven executive communication skills (written and verbal), with strong attention to detail and structured thinking.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with ability to influence and collaborate across levels and functions.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
  • Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills 

  • MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
  • Commercial Card / payments experience, including product, sales, or commercialization exposure.
  • Experience supporting growth strategy (e.g., international expansion, new capability launches, virtual card solutions).
  • People leadership experience, including coaching and performance management.
  • Experience improving reporting automation and partnering with data/analytics teams.
  • Familiarity with additional analytics tools (beyond Excel) for reporting or data analysis.
