You will work in a fast-moving environment, partnering with traders and a wide set of back-office and infrastructure teams to resolve issues quickly and keep the business running smoothly. If you are dependable, detail-focused, and motivated by solving problems under pressure, this role offers strong exposure to markets and the full trade lifecycle.

As a Trading Support Analyst within our Credit Middle Office team, you will support the trading desk by accurately capturing transactions in risk management systems and completing intraday and end-of-day processes such as completeness checks and reconciliations. You will help maintain strong controls, ensure timely issue resolution, and contribute to ongoing improvements in processes and operating model.

This role is intended to be for an initial term of approximately 12 months only; however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment.

Job responsibilities

  • Capture all transactions accurately and on time in risk management systems to support trading and risk reporting.
  • Complete intraday and end-of-day processes, including completeness checks and reconciliations, to confirm new trading activity is reflected correctly.
  • Perform and evidence required controls, ensuring they are completed and signed off within agreed timelines.
  • Partner with settlements, operations, compliance, and other infrastructure teams to support timely resolution of breaks, questions, and exceptions.
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently with support teams to drive fast, accurate outcomes and manage dependencies.
  • Build a strong understanding of trading structures from both financial and operational perspectives to support correct booking and lifecycle management.
  • Contribute to strategic initiatives and process enhancements that improve efficiency, controls, and overall operating model.
     

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor Degree
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in investment banking operations.
  • Understanding of derivatives and hedging products, including Credit Default Swaps, Credit Bonds, Credit Linked Notes, and Total Return Swaps.
  • Knowledge of the front-to-back operations process, including confirmations, settlements, and regulatory reporting, with the ability to support issue resolution across teams.
  • Awareness of key infrastructure functions such as finance, market risk, credit risk, operational risk, legal, and collateral, and how trade support activities affect these groups.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively, explain issues clearly, and challenge appropriately when required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a clear sense of ownership for assigned deliverables.
  • Ability to work effectively in a pressurized, fast-changing environment with strong teamwork and reliability.
  • Strong control mindset, with basic project management skills to support process improvements.

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • VBA experience in Excel.
  • Familiarity with automation and analytics tools such as UiPath, Alteryx, and Tableau.
