Join a communications team that helps employees across finance and audit stay informed, engaged, and aligned on priorities that matter. In this role, youll partner closely with senior leaders to translate strategy into clear, timely messagesespecially during moments of changeso people understand how their work supports customers, clients, shareholders, and communities.

As a Vice President, Internal Communications in Corporate Communications, you
will support internal communications for the Office of the Chief Financial Officer and Internal Audit. Youll advise senior leaders, craft narratives that make complex work easy to understand, and deliver communications that build clarity, trust, and engagement. Youll collaborate with Human Resources and cross-functional partners, including
Finance & Business Management (F&BM)
, to help strengthen an inclusive and collaborative culture. This is an individual contributor role with matrix leadership on project teams as needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders, providing counsel on communication best practices and change management.
  • Contribute to developing internal communications strategies that align with business goals, and implement those strategies.
  • Learn and use key internal communications channels, including broadcast email, intranet, Microsoft Teams communities, town halls and leadership offsites.
  • Champion the use of large language models to enhance communications and deliver innovative, efficient solutions at scale.
  • Collaborate with key internal partners including other Communications teams, Business Management and Human Resources to effectively support the two organizations.
  • Measure and track key metrics including employee opinion survey scores and channel engagement rates to monitor results and identify areas for improvement. 

 

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills: 

  • 6+ years of demonstrated experience in internal communications within a large corporate setting
  • Strategic communication: Ability to contribute to cohesive and effective communication strategies that resonate with key audiences. Exceptional writing, editing and verbal communication skills, with the executive presence needed to influence and counsel senior stakeholders.
  • Storytelling expertise: Demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics and develop narratives that support business goals.
  • Generative AI skills: Knowledge of best practices for leveraging large language models for human-in-the-loop content creation and brainstorming.
  • Project management: Excellent organizational skills, adept at managing multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity and accountability.

 

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:

  • Experience supporting communications for finance, audit, risk, or other corporate functions.
  • Experience designing and executing change communications for organizational or strategic transformation.
  • Familiarity with measuring and improving internal channel performance (e.g., engagement, reach, sentiment).
  • Experience coordinating leadership events (e.g., town halls, offsites) end-to-end.
Shape and deliver internal communications that help finance and audit teams understand their impactand stay connected through change.
