Location: Mumbai, Maharashtra, India

As a Payments Product Control Analyst within our Finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate client-wise financial reporting in client profitability tool which align with reported financial numbers by analyzing revenue and balance sheet data and supporting strategic business initiatives.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Conduct monthly close activities, including financial data review, variance investigation, fluctuation analysis, manual postings and preparation of financial reporting deliverables.
  • Enhance month-end processes to improve transparency and efficiency in financial results.
  • Identify and conduct targeted reviews for specific clients/products/processes based on quantitative and qualitative factors to align reported numbers with client-wise data in WCP.
  • Collaborate with Business Managers, Sales Team, Product Managers, Regional Product Controllers and Financial Controllers to monitor and escalate risks appropriately.
  • Contribute to the end-to-end control framework of the business and function.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Qualified accountant with 2 years of experience in the Financial Services industry or Product Controller experience.
  • Excellent communication skills and executive presence.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and control focus.
  • Ability to work effectively under tight timeframes and pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to work in a matrix organization with limited local oversight.
  • Proven skills in identifying and resolving control issues impacting financial results.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

  • Good knowledge of Treasury Services products and processes, including blockchain, cash management, payment clearing processing, and liquidity management.
  • Proficiency in digital solutions, particularly Alteryx and Tableau.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Good knowledge of the SAP system.
