Full Job Description

Location: Ciudad De Mexico, Mexico

As a Business Analyst Associate within Payment Operations Transformation in Latin America, you will support the delivery of Payment Operations Transformation initiatives across Latin America by conducting end-to-end process analysis, documenting requirements, and ensuring alignment with global standards.

Job Responsibilities

  • You will analyze end-to-end payments processes, identify pain points and root causes, and support the design of future-state improvements with a focus on standardization.
  • You will elicit and document requirements for process changes, including user stories, acceptance criteria, process maps, and SOP updates, ensuring clarity and alignment with Technology and Operations SMEs.
  • You will apply global delivery and documentation standards to LATAM initiatives, coordinate with global counterparts to incorporate best practices, and share regional learnings.
  • You will support Agile execution activities (refinement, sprint planning, demos, retros), maintain backlog hygiene, and track actions, RAID inputs, dependencies, and milestones.
  • You will prepare concise materials for working sessions and governance forums, and facilitate workshops with SMEs to validate processes, controls, and implementation readiness.
  • You will use monday.com and Jira to manage work intake, maintain backlogs, track delivery, and support dashboards and reporting.
  • Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • At least 24 years of experience in business analysis, operations/process improvement, or project delivery roles with strong process orientation.
  • Hands-on experience in operations process mapping and documentation (e.g., swim lanes, procedures, control points, handoffs).
  • Practical experience working in Agile environments and proficiency using monday.com and Jira (tickets, workflows, backlog management, basic reporting).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate complex operational topics into clear, structured deliverables.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English (written and spoken).
  • Payments domain expertise (products, end-to-end processing flows, operational practices, and exception management) and experience supporting transformation across regulated/control-focused environments (preferred).
  • Experience supporting transformation across regulated/control-focused environments (preferred).
  • Portuguese language skills (written and spoken) (preferred).
