Bring market-moving corporate action announcements to life through accurate capture and disciplined controls. You will help protect clients and the firm by ensuring complex voluntary events are processed correctly and on time. Join a collaborative operations team where curiosity, ownership, and continuous improvement are valued. Work with global partners to resolve issues, strengthen processes, and improve how work gets done.

As an Asset Associate Operations in Announcement Capture Utility Team, you support the accurate processing of high-risk, complex voluntary corporate action events throughout the announcement capture lifecycle. You will work closely with global partners to resolve discrepancies, answer service inquiries, and maintain strong risk and control discipline. We value precision, teamwork, and a constructive mindset that looks for ways to simplify, standardize, and improve the operating model.

 

Job responsibilities

  • Capture and validate voluntary corporate action announcements accurately and on time
  • Perform daily controls and core processing routines to support a strong control environment
  • Produce and maintain required metrics and operational reporting for the team
  • Investigate operational issues, driving items through to resolution with stakeholders
  • Escalate risk, control, or client-impact concerns promptly and appropriately
  • Communicate processing considerations, deadlines, and risks clearly to partners and management
  • Support client service inquiries with timely, accurate responses and proper documentation
  • Maintain audit readiness by updating procedures, evidence, and process documentation as needed
  • Participate in contingency and recovery routines, including testing and readiness activities
  • Contribute improvement ideas and support delivery of process, control, and technology changes

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience processing corporate actions in an operations environment
  • Knowledge of asset servicing products and upstream/downstream process dependencies
  • Understanding of regional market practices and timelines for asset servicing events
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to high-quality, accurate processing
  • Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage workflow effectively under time pressure
  • Proven risk and control mindset, including adherence to procedures and timely escalation
  • Analytical problem-solving skills, with ability to investigate root cause and follow through to closure
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills for partner and stakeholder interactions
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams across time zones and functions
  • Comfort working with manual and system-driven workflows, including documenting outcomes and evidence

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in reconciliations, settlements, trade support, custody, or fund accounting
  • Experience partnering with middle office, client service, or product teams on operational delivery
  • Exposure to operational risk management, audit support, or control testing activities
