Full Job Description
Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka, India
Accounting & reporting for Legal entities in EMEA region (excl. UK) on monthly basis as per US GAAP including month-end close process, parent/child accounting, equity pick up, Capital Hedge, review of inter-entity breaks, and unnatural general ledger balance monitoring
End to end ownership for month end close activities like Fx Trade out, Capital Hedge, EPU, etc.
Quarterly regulatory reporting as per local GAAP for EMEA entities like Liquidity reporting, VAT return etc.
Liasing with auditors and support Legal Entity Controllers for audit and related documentation.
Perform FR/FFIEC reporting, expense and revenue allocations, local regulatory submissions, and FX hedging.
Daily monitoring and control of activities involving reconciliations.
Prepare and submit weekly financial statements and liquidity reports for selected balance sheet items.
Conduct quarterly P&L and balance sheet reporting, including onshore/offshore ratio-based analysis.
Analyze legal entity and line of business results, including variance analysis, booking validation, and transfer pricing compliance.
Partner with Financial Control, Tax, and other stakeholders on revenue allocation and transfer pricing updates, and work alongside regional controllers to resolve legal entity and line of business inconsistencies.
Drive process transformation by leveraging advanced technology solutions and partnering with strategic technology development teams to achieve sustainable process improvements.
CA, MBA, CFA, or CMA with a minimum of 1+ years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams.
Solid understanding of industry practices and accounting principles.
Strong analytical abilities and interpersonal skills.
Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
Familiarity with process transformation methodologies or automation solutions.
Proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach.
Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and financial products.
Knowledge of SAP, Axiom, WDesk.
