Full Job Description

As a Senior Product Designer, youll play a pivotal role in shaping how millions of Australians experience our digital ecosystem every day. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role where you'll design intuitive, mobile-first experiences and tackle complex customer challenges across a broad range of banking products and services. From consumer lending and mortgages to digital platform experiences, conversational banking, insurance, and super, you'll help create seamless experiences that make managing money simpler and more rewarding for our customers.

Youll be part of our Digital Tribe, partnering with product managers, engineers, and design leaders to push boundaries, experiment boldly, and bring big ideas to life. Beyond producing beautiful and functional designs, youll influence strategy, mentor designers, drive humancentred thinking, and help shape INGs design direction for the future. What youll do

  • Drive endtoend experiences across mobile and digital platforms, from Discovery, Research and ideation to prototyping, usability testing and delivery.

  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Brand, and Digital stakeholders to create simple, seamless and mobilefirst digital experiences.

  • Develop and communicate design concepts, rationale, and customer insights that influence product direction.

  • Champion humancentred design across the organisation, advocating for quality, accessibility, and consistency.

What were looking for

  • Deep expertise in Figma, prototyping, humancentred design, and information architecture.

  • 5+ years of experience designing digital products and experiences, with a portfolio that demonstrates strong craft, strategic thinking, and measurable outcomes.

  • Strong communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and bring others on the design journey.

  • Someone who thrives in fastpaced, agile environments while still delivering highquality work.

  • Passion for creating positive customer impact and for doing things differently, the ING way.

  • Experience with motion design or design tokens would be a plus.
