This is a 12-month parental leave cover opportunity offered on a part-time basis (3 days per week). As the PMO Manager for ING Australias Core Banking Transformation Program, you will play a pivotal role in one of the banks largest transformation initiatives, leading PMO governance, reporting, prioritisation, risk management and performance oversight to support the successful delivery of key modernisation milestones.
Reporting to the Program Director Core Banking, you will partner with local and global stakeholders to drive strategic outcomes, maintain delivery certainty and ensure adherence to transformation frameworks across the program.

What youll do
Lead and support program governance, reporting, and performance tracking across the Core Banking Transformation Program.
Support planning, prioritization, milestone management, and delivery oversight to ensure successful execution.
Engage and influence local and global stakeholders to maintain alignment, transparency, and decision-making.
Support financial management, budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and resource optimization.
Support vendor management, procurement, and contract governance to ensure compliance and delivery accountability.
Enable delivery excellence through risk management, continuous improvement, and PMO best practices.
What were looking for.
Proven PMO leadership experience within large-scale, complex transformation programs.
Strong executive stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leaders.
Demonstrated experience supporting Steering Committees, including preparing high-quality papers, board-level reporting packs, presentations, decision papers and governance artefacts.
Strong understanding of program and project management methodologies, governance frameworks, risk management and reporting, with experience using ServiceNow and/or similar portfolio management tools.
Expertise in financial management, resource planning, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial/vendor management.
Data-driven approach with strong planning, reporting, analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Technology transformation and/or financial services experience, with a hands-on, delivery-focused mindset.
