Work at the heart of client relationships with some of the UKs leading corporates. In this role, youll gain hands-on exposure to complex lending transactions and a broad range of wholesale banking products, while partnering with senior stakeholders across the bank. The team

Youll join the UK Corporate Sector Coverage team within ING Wholesale Bankings Sectors organisation. The team works with a portfolio of FTSE100250 clients, primarily with a European footprint, delivering integrated corporate and investment banking solutions.

Its a collaborative, international environment where youll work closely with Parent Account Managers and product specialists across lending, capital markets, and transaction services. The team combines sector expertise, a strong global network, and a clear ambition to lead on sustainability.

Roles and responsibilities

  • In this role, youll support the development and management of key client relationships while gaining exposure to deal execution and strategic client planning. You will:

  • Supporting relationship management by preparing client plans, briefing materials, and pitch presentations

  • Coordinating and following up on client meetings, including preparing call reports and tracking actions

  • Contributing to origination efforts by identifying opportunities and analysing market and client developments

  • Assisting in screening and onboarding prospective clients, including preparing prospect overviews

  • Supporting deal execution by drafting commercial proposals, credit applications, and internal approval materials

  • Collaborating with product partners and internal stakeholders to deliver transactions smoothly

  • Ensuring high data quality across systems, including Salesforce updates and performance tracking

  • Supporting KYC and onboarding processes to ensure timely and compliant client setup

  • Maintaining accurate client documentation and contributing to internal deal communication and case studies
