We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Relationship Manager.

Principle responsibilities

  • Provide support to Relationship Managers to optimise the potential value of client relationships, improve client engagement, and deliver needs-based solutions and fair outcomes for customers
  • Enable proactive client management by attending client meetings as required and acting as the first point of contact for customers on day-to-day credit-related enquiries
  • Support Relationship Managers in identifying strategies to maintain or enhance overall relationship return and ensure early identification of potential credit issues
  • Collaborate with Group colleagues to deliver appropriate needs-based solutions for customers
  • Work closely with Operating Teams to co-ordinate the end-to-end credit process, review deliverables, and resolve issues
  • Monitor credit risk, including concern lists and credit control reports, and analyse management information
  • Provide ongoing risk monitoring in areas concerning Global Standards, and Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions alerts, acting as an escalation point for risk issue response

Requirements

  • Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) qualification
  • Strong experience in supporting relationship management, client service, or business development in corporate, commercial, or institutional financial services
  • A positive, can-do attitude with a practical approach to getting things done
  • Strong results focus with attention to detail and follow-through
  • Proven ability to work as part of a team and build effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
