Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Workforce Insights Manager.

In this role you will:

  • Produce impactful, data-driven narratives that successfully communicate insights for use at Asia & Middle East Management meetings and other senior leadership sessions
  • Support the Head of Workforce Management and Operations Director for Asia & Middle East Technology in developing analytics to achieve end state workforce (location, shape and size of CIO Organisation)
  • Provide strategic Asia & Middle East inputs to GCIO-wide workforce planning
  • Identify and visualise Asia & Middle East workforce trends, patterns, and insights to inform action plans, decision making, and improvements to people metrics (e.g. D&I, attrition, tenured contractors)
  • Use data-driven insights to drive Asia & Middle East workforce operational efficiencies
  • Collaborate with the Asia & Middle East Workforce Management Pillar Lead, Operations Director and Operations Managers to understand their ongoing needs and develop appropriate insights and supporting narrative
  • Act as SME within Asia & Middle East COO team for GCIO and Group data frameworks, applications and dashboards
  • Ensure all insights are driven by an understanding of the Asia & Middle East, GCIO and bank-wide workforce strategy
  • Collaborate with GCIO Workforce Management pillar to continuously improve workforce data, processes and insights across GCIO

To be successful you will need:

  • Extensive experience in enterprise-scale analytics and insights design / creation
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of driving results in complex, matrixed organisations
  • Ability to synthesize complex information to support data-driven decision making for positive business outcomes
  • Strong understanding of Technology workforce management requirements for banks and knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitor and market
  • Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and software
  • Ability to develop and maintain long term relationships with highly critical stakeholders internally and externally
  • Maintains expert knowledge of stakeholder requirements, competitor activities and market trends to influence future direction
  • Understanding of the HSBC Group and its strategy, structures and processes
