We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our department as Technical Specialist - Lending.

Principal responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end delivery of lending technology initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Managing the requirements prioritization and acceptance testing result verification

• Work closely with Group/Regional IT to provide solutions to HASE business and negotiate with them on the implementation approach and schedule.
• Work closely with architects, development managers, software specialists and engineers, to ensure the delivered projects / solution can meet the budget, timeline, and quality objectives in alignment with business strategy.
• Prepare solution options with clear trade-offs (cost/benefit, risk, timeline) and obtain approvals.
• Supporting the development and testing stages of the change request through to implementation.

• Respond promptly to production incidents and user enquiries; drive root-cause analysis and remediation.
• Comprehend and translate complex and advanced functional, technical, and business requirements into executable architectural designs.
• Create and maintain requirements and solution documentation.
• Understand interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
• Demonstrate a functional acumen to support how solutions will address client goals while maintaining alignment with industry best practices
• Manage project scope and changes.
• Participate and/or drive feasibility studies, vendor selections and proposals for evaluation by appropriate key stakeholders
• Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to various audiences, including project team, sponsors and key stakeholders
• Provide end-to-end solution design oversight for lending changes, ensuring alignment with target architecture and security standards.
• Work with engineering teams to define integration approach, non-functional requirements and deliver solutions.

Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Information System or related disciplines.
• 10+ years experience delivering IT change for lending products or services, with strong project management capability.
• Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence
• Build and maintain relationships by engaging business stakeholders to establish credibility, solve problems, build consensus and achieve objectives.
• Experience leading agile squads/pods and delivering iteratively (Scrum/Kanban) with strong delivery discipline.
• Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation) and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
• Must be able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
• Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
• Support diverse and inclusive work environment
• Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
