We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Associate Director, Control Manager

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and manage the Regulatory and Client Engagement team, providing coaching and fostering a high-performance culture. Oversee end-to-end operational workflows for all technology-related regulatory and client engagements.
  • Maintain structured inventories and accurate records of regulatory and client requests, ensuring data is current and accessible. Develop and uphold standard operating procedures, playbooks, and RACI matrices for technology engagements.
  • Coordinate with market Single Points of Contracts to ensure requests are logged, prioritised, routed correctly, and processed consistently across regions. Monitor resource allocation and capacity planning, optimising workload distribution and workflow tooling.
  • Ensure all responses meet internal quality standards, progressing through required QA tollgates. Facilitate collaboration and knowledge sharing across regulatory engagement teams, control owners, and other key stakeholders to shape coherent, high-quality responses

To be successful, you will:

  • Proven operations leadership experience, track record running end-to-end operational teams/processes at scale, delivering measurable outcomes (service, cost, risk) and leading managers/team leads.
  • Performance management and continuous improvement, ability to set KPIs/SLAs, analyse root causes, prioritise work, and deliver process improvement (e.g. simplification, automation, standardisation) with clear benefits realisation.
  • Extensive experience in regulatory management or compliance within a global financial services environment. Strong knowledge of technology, cybersecurity, and data risk controls, including relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., NIST, COBIT, ISO 27001, ITIL).
  • Excellent collaboration, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex issues clearly to senior stakeholders. Experience designing and maintaining standard operating procedures, playbooks, and tooling to optimise workflow efficiency. 10+ years experience in governance, audit, risk, compliance related operational management.
  • Experience in regulatory engagement or regulatory operations. Certifications such as CISA, CISM, CRISC, CISSP, or similar industry-recognized risk certifications and
  • Experience with workflow tooling or regulatory tracking systems
