We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Premier Business Development Manager.
In this role you will:
- Put customers at the heart: Acquire qualified customers into the HSBC Premier/Premier Elite proposition through needs-based conversations and a strong service mindset. Drive wealth and digital readiness through proactive, high-quality engagement.
- Get it done: Own end-to-end client acquisition deliveryprospecting, onboarding, and warm handover to RM/specialiststo meet agreed growth and revenue outcomes.
- Take responsibility: Maintain high standards of operational integrity, meeting published Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Premier service standards.
- Take responsibility: Ensure full compliance with AML, KYC, onboarding guidelines, account opening and regulatory requirements, managing processes through to completion.
- Succeed together: Partner with branch/direct teams and refer to RMs/wealth advisers/specialists to deliver wealth reviews and broader financial planning solutions.
- Get it done: Self-source new-to-bank opportunities and build a robust pipeline via disciplined prospecting and relationship management for the offshore banking platform.
- Value difference: Expand external networks in the offshore/Premier segment to unlock diverse client leads and referral channels.
To be successful you will need:
- Bachelors degree (or equivalent) with relevant experience in a retail banking/sales environment.
- Proven sales performance with strong prospecting, networking, and relationship-building capability (financial services experience advantageous).
- Experience engaging high net worth and/or international clients, ideally within Premier/offshore contexts.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to influence and build trust with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining discipline on process and controls.
- Proficiency in Indian dialects to engage the key client base; right to work in Singapore required.
