We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role Fund Administrator
Role is of Fund Administrator position in Transfer Agency Operations and involves catering to strict dealing/reporting/payment cut offs for key daily Clients across different time zones catering to multiple locations/jurisdictions requiring close supervision, planning and prioritization of associated tasks on daily basis.
In this role, you will:
- To process the following transactions accurately and in a timely manner pertaining to Transfer Agency functions in Bangalore.
- Responsible for executing Transfer Agency Operations for Clients multiple locations / jurisdictions through effective oversight, planning and prioritization on daily basis.
- Responsible to independently execute transactions pertaining to subscription, Redemption, Switches and Transfers from the investors into and from the fund.
- Independently execute all relevant actions as per the jurisdiction requirement around investor Onboarding, Account Set up and Maintenance
- Responsible for settlement and Reconciliation of the deals settled and payments received or made to the investors.
- Ensure all end of day activities details for Transfer Agency function as applicable to the respective location / jurisdiction are executed.
- Responsible for Corporate Action and Fund Price updates to the system
- Reporting to interested parties such as the Fund Accountants, Investors, Distributors, Fund/Asset Management Companies.
- Establish relationships with clients of multiple locations/ jurisdictions.
To be successful you will:
- Commerce Graduate is essential, Post Graduate degree in commerce and Accounts would be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of securities industry, Mutual funds, hedged funds, role of Transfer Agents, Registrars, Custodian etc. is desirable.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively in English, both oral and written
- Multi-cultural background or experience, ability to work across broad range of cultures in support of HSBC Group values and objectives
- Strong computer skills in Excel and Microsoft Word
- Good team player and able to work well independently.
- CISI Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment Certifications
- Prior experience in Transfer Agency & Registrar operations
- Understanding of Market and Mutual Fund operations desirable
- Since it is role that caters to markets in different time zone, the candidate must be flexible to working in different shifts including day shifts, early morning, and evening shifts.
