Role Purpose

The role assists relationship managers ("RMs") in building relationships by identifying and meeting existing and prospective customer needs. This role is responsible for identifying product and service opportunities, carrying out customer research, financial and credit analysis and helping the RM prepare for customer meetings. Other fundamental parts of the role include co-ordination of credit applications or renewals and risk escalation management. In the absence of the RM, the role holder will act as the focal point for the relationship, products and services.

Job Contents

  1. To provide in-house support to corporate relationship managers to enhances corporate relationships and customer service quality
  2. Supports Group Global & Regional Relationships and initiatives
  3. The role will prepare credit application writing including industry analysis, financial analysis, cash projection and trade cycle analysis in English
  4. Close liaison with colleagues from other lines of business, business segments, products and services
  5. Safeguards the Group from potential loss and minimizes risk of losses from bad debts

Skills Requirements

  1. Typical qualifications would include an undergraduate or post-graduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Law or a related field
  2. Bachelor degree or above, majored in business related
  3. With strong expertise and solid knowledge in corporate Banking or interacting with clients
  4. Fluent in English and Chinese
  5. GAPD Covered worker
