We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Financial Crime Risk Manager.

Principal responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Business Financial Crime Risk, ASP WPB in ensuring oversight, optimization and streamlining of CDD process & Throughput.
  • Prepare, manage, and optimise the CDD Book of Work (BoW), monitor performance, and develop governance MI and dashboard reporting for ASP markets.
  • Support implementation of digital journeys in coordination with Global CDD for ASP markets.
  • Read across of AML/KYC control deficiencies from all FCI / INA reports and drive controls enhancements.
  • Guiding markets with new business acquisition / run down activities from a BFCR perspective.
  • Sharing CDD process best practices across the markets-regionally & globally.
  • Drive effective and efficient risk identification - this includes adding additional (automated) controls to the Onboarding processes.
  • Support EWRA exercise on an annual basis in ASP markets.

Requirements

  • University degree in related discipline or relevant experience
  • Work experience in financial institutions including good exposure to complaint handling tasks and customer-facing experience
  • Familiar with retail and wealth management products and services plus and related operations preferred
  • Customer centric mindset, strong business sense plus positive and sincere work attitude
  • High degree of personal drive and resilience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including fluent in English, Cantonese, and Putonghua
  • A team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to form good working relationships.
  • Ability to prioritize competing demands and manage time effectively.
  • Flexibility and a willingness to support the wider team and department as required.

Due to the urgent hiring need, candidates with immediate right to work locally and no relocation need will be prioritised.
