We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Business Analysis.

In this role, you will:

  • Own end-to-end functional delivery for the post-trade transformation from requirements through build, testing, and deployment.
  • Act as the senior business SME for corporate actions, trade lifecycle, and settlement processing, providing strategic direction to the programme.
  • Define and enforce best practices for business analysis, producing high-quality artefacts including functional specifications, architecture diagrams, and traceability matrices.
  • Build, lead, and mentor a team of business analysts, creating a strong functional knowledge base and documentation repository.
  • Manage senior stakeholder relationships across business, technology, vendors, and programme leadership ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and key decisions.
  • Drive UAT strategy, working with Business Asset Class Leads on defect remediation and environment readiness. Manage project risks, propose solutions, and negotiate with delivery teams to maintain momentum and resolve conflicts.
  • Oversee transition activities in a multi-vendor landscape, ensuring continuity of service and knowledge transfer. Champion continuous improvement and innovation, applying lessons learned to strengthen future delivery.

To be successful, you will: **// 6 to 8 points//**

  • 12+ years of experience in business analysis and delivery leadership within investment banking, with deep expertise in post-trade, corporate actions, and fixed income/equity products.
  • Proven track record as a Lead BA delivering complex, front-to-back programmes in a global, multi-vendor environment.
  • Strong command of business analysis methodology, SDLC, and both Waterfall and Agile delivery models.
  • Experience managing and mentoring BA teams across geographically dispersed locations.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Sound understanding of market connectivity, trading workflows, middleware platforms, and DevOps/Agile practices.
  • Highly disciplined, self-motivated, and comfortable operating autonomously under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience with HSBC GBM and/or Fixed Income applications is desirable.
