We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director, Data and Analytics

In this role, you will:

  • Understand the needs of the stakeholders and work with the team architect and other team members to design the solution and thus cost and outcomes.
  • Engage with the stakeholder to agree budget, target timelines, communication plan, etc
  • Create, manage and track all required project artefacts including activities, milestone and resource plans, risks and issues, etc, in collaboration with the stakeholders and all involved teams
  • Ensure the scope, quality and benefits are delivered on time and to budget, and that any changes are communicated and agreed with all parties
  • Encourage, educate and support further adoption of the services, including provision of data insights etc.
  • Work with vendor partners that provide external data and Entity Resolution software to ensure needs are understood and vendors aligned
  • Pro-actively contribute to improvement of the product, data, customer service, etc.

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • 4 year Bachelors or Masters degree from reputed university. At least 10+ years of experience in Technology, ideally in a banking or finance domain
  • Proven record in handling large projects, delivery management, etc
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to work with all levels of an organization; effective interpersonal and influencing skills.
  • Ability to conduct/lead meetings with senior business partners.Ability to conceptualize solutions and anticipate future direction and trends
  • Strong organizational skills and an ability to balance and handle multiple responsibilities
  • Ability to lead team including contractors across multiple locations
  • Ability to work independently or collaboratively in a group setting
  • Understand and abide by compliance framework for policies, data, systems etc. as per HSBC Group/ regional and local standards
