Principal Responsibilities

  • Provide high-touch trading advisory and high-touch trade execution services to HNW and high-value, frequent-trading brokerage clients.
  • Deliver against the financial and non-financial performance objectives set by the Company.
  • Provide clients with Investment Services & Advisory (IS&A) insights, market commentary and analysis, as appropriate.
  • Ensure delivery service is aligned to HSBC internal standards and complies with all applicable regulatory and conduct requirements.
  • Expand the client base and drive business development through effective internal collaboration, including with GPB and Premier Elite.
  • Support the execution of growth strategies and delivery of key business initiatives.
  • Perform Customer Due Diligence (CDD) and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) in accordance with policy; maintain strong client relationships and identify opportunities to refer clients to other HSBC products and services.
  • Work on a shift basis and provide coverage on public holidays in accordance with team arrangements and business requirements.
  • Support the Team Head with ad-hoc duties, including assisting with the handling of customer complaints where required.

Qualifications

  • University degree qualified, preferably in business administration or finance discipline
  • Holder of SFC Type 1, 2, 3 and 4 licences
  • Strong customer mind-set and high commitment to service excellence
  • Solid experience in securities, and/or hotline customer services
  • Good knowledge of investment products provided by the bank or retail brokerage firms would be an advantage
  • Adaptability and flexibility to respond quickly to changing priorities
  • Self-motivated and pragmatic with ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong analytical skills and problem solving skills
  • Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin
