Full Job Description

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Assistant Manager Human Resources.

In this role you will:

Support delivery of the local people agenda aligned to the People Strategy across the employee lifecycle, under guidance from the Manager.
Coordinate end-to-end recruitment activities to uphold HSBC hiring standards, including agency liaison where applicable.
Provide day-to-day HR support by handling employee/manager queries, triaging requests and escalating complex matters appropriately.
Coordinate employee performance management, development and engagement activities, including communications, logistics and tracking of feedback.
Support implementation of transformation initiatives by coordinating communications/actions and helping drive adoption of new processes and systems.
Ensure to maintain accurate HR data/records and monitor routine MI packs and dashboards with stakeholders to support workforce planning and decision-making.
Support a strong control compliance by completing assigned control checks, maintaining documentation and escalating exceptions/risks.
Administer local third-party vendors and invoicing processes, ensuring audit-ready documentation, SLA tracking and correct cost allocation.

To be successful you will need:

University graduate (or equivalent experience), preferably in HR, Organizational Psychology, Business or related discipline.
With experience in HR operations/generalist support, recruitment coordination or HR administration; financial services exposure is an advantage.
Strong stakeholder communication and coordination skills; Cantonese and/or Mandarin required to support Macau business needs.
High attention to detail and confidentiality mindset; comfortable with HR systems and data/MI (e.g., Excel) and able to escalate issues with good judgement.
