We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Director, Gen AI Expert

In this role, you will:

  • Take measures to provide direction and updates on the effectiveness of the control provided by the DRA/GSNA to Control Owners.
  • To enable t the development of initiatives and guidance in support of Group Financial Crime objectives and effectively execute across the RAD Analytics portfolio.
  • Responsible for ensuring effective information sharing on all Risk Analysis & Discovery Matters across Financial Crime, Compliance, and with other parts of the organisation.
  • Responsible for escalating significant financial crime threats and management issues to senior leadership so appropriate action can be undertaken in response.
  • Undertake measures for supporting the conversion of strategic plans into operational objectives for the RAD Analytics function.
  • Manage relationships with key internal stakeholders across Group functions, lines of business, regions, and countries.
  • Responsible for facilitating the sharing of information and creation of feedback loops across the firm, with particular focus on Risk Assessment team stakeholder to continuously adapt and improve emerging risk identification
  • Take measures to provide the support capability necessary to manage the response to high priority DRA/GSNA feedback requiring a response across Group Financial Crime functions, Compliance, lines of business, regions, or countries.

To be successful you will:

  • Functional knowledge on financial crime, typologies, model risk policies etc to support RAD priorities
  • Technical expertise to extract data and analysis and be comfortable with Python, SQL, ML, visualization, cloud etc.
  • Highly skilled in data analysis: interpretation and transformation of data sets, delivering intelligence insights from raw data and producing effective and innovative data visualisations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communications skills with extensive experience translating complex findings from disparate sources into actionable and relevant insights for stakeholders and decision makers.
  • 6+ years of Experience within a regulatory, investigative or intelligence agency, or as a compliance or technology manager within a global firm, in the financial services industry
  • Mandatory prior experience in Gen AI use case. Such as LLM's, Prompt engineering, Solution Development, etc.
  • Expertise and experience in using technology to detect FC at an operational level
  • An understanding of how technological tools are deployed to detect FC, including how these tools are used to improve alert volumes and risk coverage.
