We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AM Finance Operations Support (GCB 7)

Role Purpose


Responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate processing, recording, reconciliation and reporting of brokerage transactions in accordance with HSBC reporting standards.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Provide logistical support for finance and accounting related functions
  • Management of INPH Subsidiary Ledger which includes monitoring of outstanding items in Premiums Payable, Clients Receivable, Commissions Receivable, Input VAT Report, Output VAT Receivable and Tax Recoverable accounts, Cash in Bank (Clients money and OWN accounts) related to investments business
  • Ensure the integrity of the balance sheet and profit and loss statements
  • Establish high standards of customer service through effective implementation of procedures and service standards
  • Validates the entries made into the brokers database and prepares remittance schedule and transfer requests for the settlement of premiums due to insurance providers
  • Reviews payment request for various operational and administrative expenses of the Company and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintains high standard of work synergy with sales and internal customers in ensuring smooth exchanges of client information
  • Promotes a culture of sales, service, operational excellence and compliance among staff
  • Adhere to and improve established workflow and processes
  • Compliance

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years related work experience
  • Graduate of business-related course, preferably Accountancy
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Proficiency in MS Excel
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player
