Global Markets Division enables our clients to buy and sell financial products, raise funding and manage risk. We make markets and facilitate client transactions in fixed income, equity, currency and commodity products. In addition, we make markets in and clear client transactions on major stock, options and futures exchanges worldwide. Through our global sales force, we maintain relationships with our clients, receiving orders and distributing investment research, trading ideas, market information and analysis.

Role Overview

The Vendor Management Associate supports the end-to-end vendor lifecycle, including onboarding, contracting, performance monitoring, and risk management. The Associate partners with internal stakeholders and senior vendor managers to drive effective vendor oversight, reporting, and control execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management

  • Oversee the entire contract lifecycle for Information Technology vendors (software, hardware, and IT professional services), including drafting, review, negotiation, execution, and renewal of vendor agreements.
  •  Ensure all contracts align with organizational policies, legal requirements, and business objectives.
  • Monitor contract compliance, terms, and conditions, identifying and addressing any deviations or breaches.
  •  Maintain a centralized repository of vendor contracts and related documentation.
  • Forecast and track vendor budgets and payments

Vendor & Stakeholder Coordination

  • Support vendor relationship management activities in partnership with senior team members
  • Participate in vendor interactions and help coordinate communication between vendors and internal stakeholders
  • Assist in preparation and execution of vendor review meetings, including gathering inputs and tracking follow-ups
  • Help drive issue resolution by coordinating across vendors and internal teams

Vendor Risk Management

  • Identify, assess, and mitigate potential business risks associated with vendor relationships, including operational, financial, security, data privacy, compliance, and reputational risks.
  • Develop and implement vendor risk assessment frameworks and due diligence processes.
  • Ensure vendors adhere to the organization's security policies, regulatory requirements, and ethical standards.
  • Develop contingency plans and exit strategies for critical vendor services.

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track and report on vendor KPIs, SLAs, and performance metrics
  • Forecast and track vendor budgets and payments
  • Analyze vendor performance data to highlight trends, issues, and improvement opportunities
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and materials for internal stakeholders and senior management

 

Required Qualification & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Information Technology, Finance, or related field
  • Typically 68 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, contract management, or third-party risk management
  • Foundational understanding of vendor lifecycle management and third-party risk concepts
  • Exposure to technology vendors and IT service delivery models preferred
