Job Duties: Vice President, Banker - Industry/Country Coverage with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in New York, New York. Develop and strengthen client relationships by participating in advisory teams and in structuring and executing a full range of financial transactions, with a focus on Mergers and Acquisitions, Debt Issuances and Initial Public Offerings (IPOs) for companies in the Technology, Media and Telecom sectors, including digital infrastructure companies. Perform deep-dive valuation and other financial analyses (including discounted cash flow, leveraged buyout, merger consequences, comparable companies, and precedent transactions) during buy-side or sell-side M&A or financing processes to present to corporates, financial sponsors, and private clients. Perform scenario analyses to examine the effects of proposed client alternatives and analyze accounting and regulatory statements, debt and equity filings and documents, financial projections, and models to support analyses. Work with industry coverage group, including junior and senior bankers in the execution of financial transactions as well as interact with client executives to help guide clients in their financial decisions. Coordinate with teams across functions, such as Debt Capital Markets, Equity Capital Markets, Legal and Compliance, to prepare client marketing materials or sales memoranda. Lead aspects of executing financial transactions, which includes, but is not limited to, interacting with client management, or potential buyers, on a daily basis, analyzing financial statements, conducting due diligence, drafting financing or marketing materials, and preparing debt, equity, or merger filings and regulatory documents (including SEC-filed documents, press releases, and merger proxies). Attend in-person or telephonic due diligence sessions with senior executives at a companys facilities, or with suppliers, customers, and other related parties in order to evaluate the veracity of a companys business model and end market, historical and projected financial performance, and other factors. Lead, mentor, and train multiple teams of investment banking associates and analysts.

Job Requirements: Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role or Masters degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field AND three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related role. Prior experience must include five (5) years of experience (if Bachelors) or three (3) years of experience (if Masters) of experience with: applying quantitative valuation methodologies, , including DCF, LBO, accretion/dilution and ability-to-pay analysis, public trading comparables, precedent transactions, and sum-of-the-parts analysis using financial services databases including S&P Global Market Intelligence or Green Street Advisors; supporting transaction processes through the preparation of deal origination pitch materials, engagement letters, marketing materials for sell-side transactions, roadshow presentations and prospectuses for IPOs and other equity offerings, marketing materials for debt offerings, and publicly filed press releases and investor presentations; conducting financial and market analyses to identify potential opportunities and preparing structured analytical materials to support client discussions regarding strategic planning and capital markets decisions; performing detailed quantitative analysis of databases of data and information, including aggregating and interpreting financial and market data to identify trends, risks, and valuation implications; preparing and delivering financial presentations to executive-level corporate clients in the technology, media and telecom sectors on topics such as strategic alternatives, capital markets activities, restructuring alternatives and corporate governance issues at board meetings and pitches and on conference calls; and executing projects, providing updates and advice and preparing presentation materials to senior management. Prior experience must include three (3) years of experience with: leading transaction-related communications across internal teams, clients and product groups; reviewing and providing technical feedback on financial models and presentations prepared by junior professionals for clients, corporate board meetings, business development pitches for new business, and client service projects on corporate finance topics, and ensuring compliance with internal review standards; and leading development of client overview materials, strategic considerations, and marketing materials for organizations to convey their key attributes to investors and other parties. FINRA Series 79 license required within 3 months of hire. Domestic travel is required 10% of time for client and industry meetings.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York based position is $ 250,000 - $ 270,000.
