Job Duties: Associate, Internal Product Specialists with Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC in, New York, New York. Preparation of custom presentations and quarterly and annual investor letters for prospective and existing clients, creating and incorporating data analyses related to investment performance, fund strategy, portfolio exposures, concentrations and diversification. Development and maintenance of product profiles, pitch books and other marketing materials focused on XIG services, products and performance. Formulate and express XIGs investment views, field questions on XIG managers and fund investments, and outline XIGs investment theses and market outlook. Collect, validate, and analyze quantitative data on fund portfolios, market indices, macroeconomic indicators to identify trends, risks, and opportunities. Actively participate and assist in meetings with prospective and existing clients with minimal supervision, to evaluate XIGs manager investment strategies using both qualitative and quantitative metrics. Coordinate new fund launches by managing the marketing calendar, developing marketing materials, completing committee memos, engaging with key internal and external stakeholders, and developing and maintaining sales trackers. 

Job Requirements: Bachelors degree (U.S. or foreign equivalent) in Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related analytical or engineering specialty such as Chemical Engineering and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or a related investment management position. Prior work experience must include three (3) years with: designing and preparing pitch books, marketing materials and commentary relating to private equity funds and co-investments; creating data analyses and quantitative models to prepare detailed committee memos, synthesizing due diligence process and results, and presenting to investment, implementation operational and Board committees; analyzing macroeconomic trends and private equity funds and co-investment fund performance and closely integrating with investment teams to produce client commentary and quarterly letters; conducting research around business development trends or themes by geography and client type, as well as conducting competitor analysis and market intelligence on private equity managers; private funds and alternative investments, specifically, private equity, and knowledge of the investment management industry; and conducting market research and data analytics using Preqin and Pitchbook. Travel required (international and domestic), up to 20% of the time per year to meet with current and prospective clients and sales teams. All travel expenses reimbursed by the firm.

Salary Range: Annual base salary for this New York, New York - based position is $149,000 - $156,000.
