The Asset Backed Securities (ABS) Associate will be a key member of the Securitized Product Group (SPG) team, supporting the origination, structuring, and execution of asset-backed financing and capital markets transactions across a broad range of securitized product sectors, including consumer and commercial ABS, and esoteric asset classes.
The successful candidate will combine strong analytical capabilities with transaction execution experience and an understanding of structured finance markets.
- Analyze collateral performance data, historical asset performance, collateral tapes, and comparable transactions
- Build and maintain financial models to project cash flows, evaluate transaction structures, and perform scenario and sensitivity analyses
- Develop and maintain knowledge of rating agency methodologies, credit considerations, and market developments across securitized products sectors
- Support the execution of securitization and structured finance transactions from origination through closing
- Coordinate with external stakeholders, including rating agencies, investors, accounting firms, trustees, and legal counsel
- Partner with internal teams, including Risk, Syndicate, Legal, Compliance, and Operations
- Review transaction documentation, including credit agreements, offering memoranda, indentures, and related legal documents
- Prepare internal credit memoranda, client presentations, marketing materials, and pitch books
- Assist with transaction structuring, due diligence, and investor communication efforts
- Monitor market trends and provide analytical support for new business opportunities
What You Bring:
Education
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Mathematics, or a related quantitative discipline
- Advanced degree or relevant professional designation is a plus
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in securitized products, structured finance, asset-backed securities, or related capital markets disciplines
- Experience supporting the execution of ABS or other structured finance transactions preferred
Skills & Competencies
- Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with experience evaluating structured finance transactions
- Experience analyzing asset-backed collateral performance and credit fundamentals
- Proficiency with Excel and structured finance analytical tools, including Intex and CAS
- Strong understanding of securitization structures, cash flow mechanics, and capital markets execution
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- Self-motivated team player with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across functions

The base pay range for this position is posted below and represents the annualized salary range. For hourly positions (non-exempt), the annual range is based on a 40-hour work week. The exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications and location.
