Our Murrin Murrin site in WAs northern Goldfields is an integrated nickel and cobalt mining and processing operation employing over 1,000 people. Murrin Murrin Operations is wholly owned by Glencore, one of the worlds largest globally diversified natural resources companies and a major producer and marketer of more than 60 commodities. Glencore employs over 145,000 people operates around 150 operating mining and processing sites, oil production assets and agricultural facilities in over 35 countries.

The Role
The successful candidate will become a member of a hardworking and committed team who can provide strong administrative support.

You will be responsible for:
  • Coordinate internal and external training schedules, bookings, attendance and administration for employees and contractors
  • Maintain accurate training, competency, licence and site-entry records across approved systems
  • Act as the first point of contact for training, compliance and site-entry enquiries
  • Create and manage courses, sessions, class lists, attendance records and training communications
  • Review and upload training certificates, licences, tickets and competency evidence, following up missing or expired documentation
  • Monitor compliance, training gaps and expiry requirements, providing reports and coordinating follow-up actions
  • Support mobilisation, shutdowns and peak workforce periods by checking requirements and coordinating outstanding training
  • Maintain document control, data quality, privacy and records-management standards across all training activities

About You
Reporting directly to the Training Superintendent, this role would suit a detailed and process-oriented person.

You will also have:
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems, Oracle or comparable enterprise systems advantageous
  • Understanding of training evidence, licences, competencies and expiry-based compliance requirements
  • Intermediate Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams skills, including registers, filters and routine reporting
  • Strong data entry, document checking, scanning, uploading, electronic filing and compliance-reporting skills
  • Ability to learn and confidently use Learning Management, site-access and contractor-management systems
  • Clear and professional communication with strong customer-service skills and the ability to explain requirements practically
  • Ability to build cooperative relationships, follow up incomplete information and escalate compliance or mobilisation risks when required
