HOW YOU CONTRIBUTE TO OUR WORLD

Reporting to the Environmental Supervisor, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment committed to environmental protection and will perform tasks related to environmental monitoring programs. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Planning logistics related to sampling.
  • Collecting samples and shipping them.
  • Administer, maintain, and ensure the integrity of databases.
  • Assist in preparing various environmental reports.
  • Assist in managing hazardous waste and accidental spills.
  • Conduct inspections and audits.
  • Collaborate on maintaining the environmental management system.

 

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • Hold a college diploma (DEC) in environmental studies or an equivalent field, combined with three (3) years of relevant experience.
  • Have knowledge of environmental regulations in the mining sector and the ISO 14001 standard.
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite and the Eqwin, SAP, SENV, SDEM, and GMDR software (a plus).
  • Must hold a valid drivers license.
  • A recreational boating license and hazardous materials transport certification are a plus.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for long hours in sometimes difficult weather conditions.
  • Working knowledge of English is an asset.
