We are seeking a skilled Reliability Engineer to join our Brisbane team. Reporting to the Asset Care Lead Engineer, this role is critical in supporting growing operational requirements, installation and commissioning activities, customer Asset Care support, and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple Glencore Technology product lines and client operations.

The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining high technical support standards, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting business growth initiatives throughout the region

You will be responsible for:

  • Provide Installation and Commissioning Support for newly supplied equipment, including startup assistance, troubleshooting, optimisation, and ensuring compliance with Glencore Technology standards and client requirements.
  • Deliver Asset Care and Engineering Services by conducting equipment inspections, condition assessments, reliability evaluations, and providing technical recommendations to improve equipment performance and maintenance practices.
  • Develop and Optimise Spare Parts Strategies through assessment of equipment condition and operational requirements, driving standardisation, inventory optimisation, and lifecycle management of critical components.
  • Manage Supplier and Contractor Technical Performance by providing technical oversight, supporting quality assurance activities, ensuring compliance with specifications, and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and service partners.
  • Support Customers and Regional Service Partners through technical guidance, troubleshooting assistance, service quality improvement initiatives, and coordination between customers, contractors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence by supporting testwork, root cause analysis, performance optimisation initiatives, data-driven improvement projects, and the implementation of corrective actions across the installed equipment base.

To thrive in this role, you will need:

  • Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Process, or Industrial Engineering (or related technical discipline).
  • 5+ years experience in minerals processing, oil & gas, EPCM, or other heavy industries.
  • Experience with installation, commissioning, maintenance, or Asset Care support activities.
  • Experience with EPC contracts (highly regarded).
  • Strong technical troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills and communicate e
  • Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region and to customer sites and client engagement skills.
  • Strong organisational and planning ability.
  • Valid drivers license.
