The Role
The successful candidate will join a hardworking and committed mine maintenance team, providing clear and practical analysis on the operational and cost impacts of planning decisions, identifying opportunities to improve asset performance and reliability, and ensuring maintenance planning activities align with statutory, safety, and corporate requirements.

You will be responsible for:
  • Strong planning and organisational capability with a results-driven, data-informed approach
  • Effective communication, teamwork, and time management with strict adherence to HSE standards
  • Relationship building with OEMs and dealers, including negotiation and follow-up of deliverables
  • Critical thinking with a reliability-centred maintenance mindset, prioritising work based on risk and asset criticality
  • High attention to detail in work package development, drawing interpretation, and technical specification review
  • Daily coordination with Superintendents, Coordinators, and Maintenance Supervisors to prioritise maintenance activities and labour requirements
  • Ongoing collaboration with Procurement, Warehouse, Operations, and HSE teams to manage parts, shutdown scheduling, permits, and critical controls
  • Coordination with contractors, service providers, distributors, and OEMs to support technical services, campaigns, and warranty management

About You
Reporting directly to the Senior Engineer of Mining Mobile Maintenance this role would suit a detailed and process-oriented person. 

You will also have:
  • Thorough knowledge of modern maintenance planning and scheduling philosophies
  • Proven ability to plan and schedule across multiple areas and disciplines
  • Minimum five years experience in maintenance planning or scheduling for fixed or mobile assets
  • Experience ordering, tracking, and managing parts inventory and personnel logistics
  • Strong administrative background, ideally within contractor administration or customer service roles in the resources industry
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and enterprise systems including CMMS platforms such as Oracle, SAP, or Pronto, along with flight booking and training management systems
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise competing demands, and maintain strong attention to detail
  • Clear and effective communication skills across all organisational levels with strong written and spoken English
