In this role you will be responsible for:
- Executing all functions safely while complying to all procedural requirements;
- Assisting with loading of electrode paste;
- Assisting with installation of casings;
- Assisting with building the carbon blocks;
- Assisting with breaking of electrode paste;
- Operating service hoist and forklift;
- Assisting with cleaning of furnace trough;
- Assisting with cleaning of furnace floors;.
- Maintaining housekeeping in all areas of responsibility and complying to all HSEC requirements; and
- Assisting when required to act in alternative position to ensure smooth operations.
About you:
- Grade 12;
- Minimum of six (6) months basic production in a Process Plant;
- License for operating service hoist;
- Knowledge of HSEC Systems;
- Proficient in English; and
- Medically fit in terms of OHS Act.
