In this role you will be responsible for:
- Maintaining and adhering to the Mine Health and Safety Act.
- The successful candidate will be reporting to the artisan (Electrician) for operational and functional duties
- The successful candidate will support Artisan with daily maintenance and breakdowns of all equipment and machinery to ensure smooth, sufficient operations underground
- The successful candidate should be able to work independently from time to time.
- Perform all duties instructed by supervisor/ manager from time to time which may not be related to job functions.
About you:
- Grade 12
- Full N2 certificate
- Artisan Aid Competency will be advantageous
- Three (3) years experience in a mining underground environment
- Medically fit to work underground.
