Role Purpose

As the regulated Supervisor of a team of Wealth Advisers, you will be a qualified and authorised individual holding a current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS). You will bring proven experience in leading high-performing teams, acting as a mentor, coach, and trainerideally within a regulated environment governed by a robust Training & Competence (T&C) framework. Your leadership style is grounded in integrity, professionalism, and a strong client-centric ethos. You will serve as a technical expert for your team, with demonstrable experience in pensions, retirement income planning, cashflow modelling, and investment advice. You will also play a proactive role in identifying and implementing process improvements, leading initiatives that enhance the client advice journey and drive successful outcomes.

Driving sales and revenue outcomes across your team and working across the broader business to identify new lead opportunities and taking these forward. Using tools such as salesforce to monitor team activity and support individuals with coaching and development needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide coaching, mentoring, training, and leadership to a team of Wealth Advisers, supporting both business objectives and individual development goals.

  • Proven ability to drive revenue and sales performance across the team to deliver exceptional results.

  • Liaise with key stakeholders to identify and implement new lead generation initiatives,

  • Work with Marketing and PR teams on advice trigger based content and lead generation

  • Experience supporting advisors with complex planning cases including retirement income planning.

  • Manage adviser workflow and workload to optimise efficiency and ensure service standards and deadlines are consistently met, collaborating effectively with colleagues across the organisation.

  • Ensure full compliance with FCA regulations and other applicable regulatory requirements.

  • Uphold the FCAs Statements of Principle for Approved Persons (APER).

  • Implement and maintain the standards outlined in the companys Training & Competence scheme, working closely with advisers, fellow supervisors, and the Heads of Training & Competence and Financial Planning.

  • Conduct and document observations, file reviews, one-to-one meetings, and other T&C activities within agreed timeframes.

  • Demonstrate professionalism and a client-first approach in alignment with company values.

  • Ensure adherence to internal procedures by the team, providing coaching and training where necessary.

  • Maintain active membership with a recognised professional body and adhere to its code of conduct and ethical standards.

  • Champion and embody Fidelitys values and behaviours.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning or equivalent (E)

  • Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning or equivalent (D)

  • Advanced Pension Transfer qualification (D)

  • Experience as a Pension Transfer Specialist (D)

  • Experience as a Competent Supervisor or similar management/leadership experience of a successful team in a regulated environment (E)

  • Experience of providing financial advice to clients over the telephone and face to face (E)

  • A current Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) and up-to-date Continuous Professional Development (CPD) records (E)

  • Good IT skills Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook (E)

  • Previous experience of Intelligent office and Salesforce (D)

  • Can work equally well on own initiative and as part of a team (E)

  • Proactive and forward thinking (E)

  • Numerate and a high level of literacy(E)

  • Good communication skills (E)

  • Membership of an appropriate professional body must be maintained (E)
