About the role :
The accountability will be to support the activities aimed to ensure the broadest possible presence of FIL funds and strategies with Institutional Portfolio Teams, Fund Selection Units and local Portfolio Teams in primarily the Finnish and Swedish markets, working together with marketing, CRM teams as well as FIL central units.
This includes:
- Based on client needs and market relevance, ensure Fidelity being highly recognised for selected strategies. This includes good understanding of market context (e.g. regulatory framework such as MIFID and Solvency)
- Prepare and deliver investment/fund presentations to investors, distributors and their end clients as required
- Detailed qualitative and quantitative analysis vs. third parties funds in DPM / recommended lists, including tactical opportunities on single funds and strategies (underperformance, PM change, closing)
- Quick and accurate generation of written content (mails, newsletters) to be sent over on a regular basis to client network, bundling internal and external sources with the goal to link products to specific market situations where they can add value to clients
- 1 to 1 client meetings, mainly with client FSU counterparts with the goal to increase in a measurable way number and potential sales of FIL funds and strategies in recommended lists. Proven strong capability to overcome obstacles and make a difference on strengths relative to competitors solutions
- Participation in internal portfolio manager calls. Maintain regular contacts with Product Specialists on fund management, portfolio positioning and market in order to update both clients and colleagues
- Prepare and tailor locally produced materials to specific client needs, in collaboration with FIL central functions as well as local sales and marketing teams
- Highly engage and contribute with proposals to Head of Sales on strategies in focus for the coming quarters
- Liaise effectively with the Marketing and Sales Desk team to prepare and execute joint sales and marketing campaigns/efforts with selected clients
About you :
- At least 7 years of relevant experience within the asset management industry, ideally an experienced sales person with closing capabilities and established network
- Deep understanding and experience of all asset classes
- Strong commercial attitude and excellent negotiation skills
- Skilled at building trusted partnerships with a broad spectrum of sophisticated clients and decision-makers across both wholesale and institutional markets.
- Positive and proactive approach, welcoming with enthusiasm new initiatives and opportunities aimed to grow the business
- Outstanding internal and external communication skills
- Excellent organisation skills and attention to details
- Results orientation, able to work independently
- Strong collaboration skills, with an ability to navigate in a global organization
- Fluency in Finnish (preferred) and ideally another Nordic language, excellent command of English
