- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, MIS, or a related field.
- 36 years of experience in data engineering or building data solutions for analytics and reporting. Along with strong experience in Python and SQL.
- Proficiency in designing and maintaining data pipelines and workflows using Apache Airflow (or similar orchestration tools). and experience with ETL processes, including ingestion, transformation, and loading of large datasets.
- Practical knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS or GCP), including services like S3, BigQuery, Lambda, Cloud Functions, etc.
- Hands-on experience with distributed data warehouses such as Amazon Redshift, Snowflake, or Google BigQuery.
- Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and best practices for secure and reliable data handling.
- Knowledge of tools like Dataiku or similar platforms is a strong advantage
