Job Role Responsibilities
Practice in compliance with local labor & health regulatory requirements
Advocate proactively for evidence-based actions
Assess effectiveness of occupational health and wellness programs and / or processes and progress improvements proactively with appropriate stakeholder alignment
Occupational Health
Evaluate and interpret results of occupational evaluations in more complex clinical situations to detect adverse health effects and / or determine fitness for duty and recommend workplace mitigations
Assess potential work-relatedness of injuries and illnesses by collecting and analyzing relevant medical data
Physician Only: Serve as Medical Review Officer in support of Alcohol and Drug (A&D) policy as appropriate
Public Health (Substance Abuse Testing & Control Unit, Infectious Disease Control, Culture of Health)
Respond to non-routine support situations with minimal direct supervision (e.g. non-negative A&D screen, early infectious disease outbreak) and formulate and effectively communicate plan and status to supervisor
Develop targeted local health promotion program activities and communications utilizing corporate resources to drive individual employee health and wellbeing
Develop or contribute to robust plans to manage local infectious disease outbreaks or threats
