What role you will play on our team

 

The Senior Instructional Designer is accountable for designing, integrating, and continuously improving enterprise training systems that build technical workforce capability and operational readiness. This role ensures learning solutions are performancebased, scalable, and aligned with realworld job demands, safety expectations, and business outcomes.

 

What you will do

 

  • Lead endtoend curriculum design, including job task analysis, competency mapping, development, implementation, and continuous improvement
  • Design integrated learning solutions across instructorled, digital, simulation, laboratory, and fieldbased environments
  • Apply adult learning theory and competencybased design to ensure measurable job performance and safety outcomes
  • Partner with subject matter experts and operational leaders to translate technical work into scalable learning solutions
  • Leverage technical training facilities, simulators, and handson environments to support authentic skill development
  • Establish and use evaluation methods to assess training effectiveness and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure instructional quality, rigor, and alignment with operational, regulatory, and business requirements
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to instructional designers and training developers.

 

About you

 

Skills and Qualifications

 

  • A minimum of three years' Instructional Design experience to include strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional models (e.g., ADDIE), and curriculum development
  • A minimum of three years' experience in Technical Writing to include the ability to translate complex technical content into clear, engaging learning materials
  • Capable of managing multiple projects, meeting deadlines, and maintaining quality standards.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Ability to assess training needs and evaluate learning outcomes to recommend improvements
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
