ExxonMobil's state-of-the-art campus north of Houston serves as home to its Upstream, Product Solutions and Low Carbon Solutions businesses and their associated service groups. The facility opened in 2014 and accommodates more than 10,000 employees and visitors.

What you will do

 

Strategic Consulting & Partnership

  • Build strong, collaborative partnerships with Business HR, capability and business line leaders to understand emerging durable power skill requirements and evolving workforce capability needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive learning needs analysis, leveraging stakeholder input, data insights, and business priorities to accurately diagnose skill development needs
  • Recommend learning solutions that address durable power skill development and other critical competencies to improve individual and team effectiveness
  • Influence and align leaders on optimal learning strategies, guiding decisionmaking on the most effective solutions and delivery modalities to best support business outcomes.

Instructional Design/Curriculum Management

  • Strong understanding of the ADDIE process on our instructional design standards, ensuring all learning solutions are aligned with learning needs/objectives.
  • Design, curate, or oversee development of learning programs, pathways, and curriculafrom individual courses to largescale capability initiatives leveraging third party support
  • Evaluate and refresh existing programs to ensure relevancy, quality, and alignment to evolving business needs, including updates, and retirement of outdated content.
  • Lead highvisibility special projects to ensure right vendor selection and acting as the internal Project Manager
  • Collaborate with Managed Service Provider to enable sessions calendar planning, registration boost up, and decisions on go no go for low enrollment

Vendor Management 

  • Work closely with Procurement to execute and sustain vendor contracts that support IT risk assessments and meet all data privacy requirements
  • Manage and cultivate strong partnerships with external learning vendors, ensuring all performance expectations and service-level commitments are consistently met
  • Administer and manage budget, ensuring smart investment decisions, and cost effectiveness

Learning Technology & Innovation

  • Leverage emerging technologies, digital learning platforms, and modern learning methodologies to enable scalable, engaging learning experiences
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the learner experience and optimize learning operations through automation, AI, and improved processes
  • Advocate for continuous improvement and innovation from vendor platforms

Analytics, Measurement & Reporting 

  • Use analytics to evaluate learning effectiveness and support health assessment to ensure content continues to be relevant and actionable learning solutions
  • Translate data insights into recommendations for prioritizing session offerings
  • Steward quarterly KPIs 

About you

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Human Resource Development, Business, Education, Instructional Design, or related discipline.  Masters Degree preferred.
  • 10 or more years of related experience.  Completion of a professional designation preferred, appropriate designations could include Professional in Human Resources (PHR), Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Certified Professional in Talent Development (CPTD)
