Role: Enterprise Architect Technology Strategy & Transformation (TST)

Experience: 15+ Years

Description

A senior enterprise architecture leadership role responsible for defining technology strategy, driving enterprise-wide modernization and transformation initiatives, and shaping future-state architectures across large, complex organizations.

The role requires a strong blend of enterprise architecture, deep technical architecture credibility, consulting mindset, and stakeholder leadership. The Enterprise Architect is expected to engage senior business and technology leaders while providing architectural direction for large-scale, cloud-native and distributed systems.

 

Responsibilities

  • Lead enterprise architecture workstreams for transformation, modernization, and assessment initiatives.
  • Design and lead the development of large-scale cloud and custom-built solutions, leveraging modern architecture patterns such as microservices, REST APIs, event-driven architecture, distributed systems, and cloud-native platforms.
  • Establish enterprise architecture standards, reference architectures, governance frameworks, and modernization roadmaps, including application portfolio rationalization.
  • Engage with business stakeholders, architects, delivery teams, and executive governance forums to guide end-to-end solution delivery, architecture decisions, and thought leadership.
  • Support presales activities including solution shaping, estimation, proposals, client workshops, and executive presentations.

 

Qualifications

Educational Background

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Mathematics, Economics, or related fields.

 

Enterprise Architecture Expertise

  • 15+ years of IT experience with at least 6+ years in Enterprise Architecture or equivalent senior architecture leadership roles.
  • Proven experience defining enterprise target-state architectures, transformation roadmaps, and architecture governance models.
  • Strong experience conducting enterprise assessments and application portfolio rationalization initiatives.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks and modelling approaches such as TOGAF, ArchiMate, Zachman, or equivalent.

 

Technical Depth

  • Strong technical foundation with demonstrated ability to architect and guide delivery of large-scale, complex enterprise systems
  • Cloud Native and Microservices based solutions
    • Expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, API-led integration, event-driven systems, and distributed architectures.
    • Experience designing systems for scalability, resilience, security, high availability, and performance.
    • Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, data platforms, containers, Kubernetes, DevSecOps, and observability.
    • Experience working across AWS, Azure, GCP, or hybrid/multi-cloud environments.
    • Provide full stack architecture leadership, designing solutions across front end, back end, integration, data, and cloud layers, including modern web-based front end technologies such as React or Angular.
  • Architecture experience with AI based solutions
    • Architecture-level understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, vector databases, embeddings, LLM orchestration, prompt engineering, and model evaluation.
    • Ability to define high-level GenAI solution architectures involving enterprise knowledge bases, document search, summarization, workflow automation, and conversational interfaces.
    • Understanding of AI governance, responsible AI, model risk, data privacy, security, guardrails, human oversight, and regulatory considerations.

 

Leadership & Consulting Skills

  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders, lead architecture teams, and steer complex transformation programs.
  • Strong communication, consulting, and presentation skills, including experience delivering thought leadership.

 

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Architecture and cloud certifications such as AWS/Azure/GCP certifications or similar.
