Senior Consultant Corporate Tax, Private Clients

 

The opportunity 

As our Senior Consultant, you will work with an established and exciting client base, across a variety of industries to help shape and enhance their business strategies. You will also enjoy being part of a collaborative and entrepreneurial environment, where youll have the freedom to innovate and shape your career through our comprehensive development programs. 

 

This is a hybrid position based in Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options. 

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Work with experienced Tax specialists to provide tax advice to privately owned corporate groups, high net wealth families, trusts, and other privately owned entities 
  • Assist with financial reporting and tax compliance services for our clients 
  • Advise clients on their key business issues using a wide range of technology in real time 
  • Contribute to strategic planning for, and the implementation of, family governance frameworks and structures, with particular focus on privately owned business 

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • With a passion for tax, you value career long learning and innovation
  • Tax experience, ideally gained in a professional services environment in Australia 
  • Demonstrated ability to manage engagements, with strong influencing skills to pull the right levers to drive the best outcomes

 

Ideally, youll also have the skills and attributes below but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes. Were interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn. 

  • The willingness to invest time to learn and develop, and to work in a dynamic team environment
  • An ability to articulate complex technical information into succinct, well informed recommendations to your clients 
  • Ideally, youll also have commenced or completed CA, CPA or equivalent
