Consultant Corporate Tax, Private Clients

 

The opportunity

As a Consultant in our Private Tax team, youll have the opportunity to work across a diverse and engaging client base, providing taxation advisory and compliance services to family offices, privately owned businesses and their families across a wide range of industries.

 

Our clients span the full business life cycle, from fastpaced entrepreneurial startups and highgrowth businesses, through to wellestablished private enterprises, highnetworth families and family offices, and recognisable household names. This exposure gives you the chance to build strong technical foundations while gaining valuable insight into how businesses evolve, grow and succeed.

 

Youll work closely with experienced managers and partners, learning directly from those who advise business owners and families at critical points in their journey. Its an ideal environment to develop your technical skills, commercial acumen and client relationships, while building a career in private tax that goes beyond routine compliance.

 

This is a hybrid position based in Melbourne. Our roles can potentially be adjusted to work flexibly with reduced hours. Please speak with us about potential options.

Skills and attributes for success    

  • You will provide tax advice to privately owned corporate groups, high net wealth families, trusts, and other privately owned entities
  • You will provide financial reporting and tax compliance services for our clients
  • Advise clients on their key business issues using a wide range of technology in real time

 

Ideally, youll also have the skills and attributes below but dont worry if you dont tick all the boxes. Were interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

  • Contribute to strategic planning for, and the implementation of, family governance frameworks and structures, with particular focus on privately owned business
  • Work across multiple projects and clients, including entrepreneurial start-ups, established private businesses and high-net worth individuals and families
